TST Turn Signal Running Mate

  • Description

Add a DRL running light to your signal-function-only aftermarket turn signals with the TST Running Mate. Simply plug it in using the bullet-style connectors and convert your aftermarket signals to produce a bright and reliable running light.

The Turn Signal Running Mate alone does not enable a running light feature if your motorcycle wiring is not equipped with a running light circuit. This item is intended to provide a running light to turn signals designed for signal-only function by utilizing the motorcycle's existing running light harness. If you need to wire in a running light circuit, check out the TST Running Mate and Circuit Connection Kit to find the necessary components to create a running light circuit on your motorcycle.

SOLD AS A PAIR | TURN SIGNALS NOT INCLUDED

Special Note: On certain models, the introduction of a running light function on your front signals will result in a turn signal light constantly appearing on your dash panel. The Suzuki DR650 and Yamaha TW200 are prime examples of displaying this issue.

Features

  • Enables DRL running light and turn signal functionality on signal-only aftermarket turn signals (most two-plug aftermarket signals)
  • Running light functions at 80% brightness
  • Plug and play installation utilizing 3.5mm bullet style connectors
  • Improves safety and night visibility
  • Guaranteed to work with TST compatible turn signals
  • Sold as a pair

Description

Most aftermarket turn signals only feature turn signal functionality, meaning that they are either "off" or "on" with a single brightness output. This limitation eliminates the running light feature that your bike had from the factory, but with one simple installation, you can have both running light AND turn signal functionality from a two-plug style single-intensity turn signal. The TST Running Mate utilizes pulse width modulation to work with most DC current turn signals to create a lower output of light. Regaining your DRL running light means more visibility to those around you and some additional style points. The bullet-style connectors ensure a plug-and-play installation with most aftermarket turn signals so you don't need to cut, splice, or solder a thing. Simply plug this little guy in and the TST Running Mate takes care of the rest!

Keep in mind that the Turn Signal Running Mate uses the stock running light circuit on your motorcycle, so if your motorcycle doesn't feature turn signal running lights in it's stock form, click here to shop our TST Running Mate and Circuit Connection Kit for an easy to install solution that creates a running light circuit by utilizing a 12v ignition switched power source on your motorcycle.

How do you know if you have running light functionality? Simple, you should have three wires coming from your bike side harness where it joins with your two-plug aftermarket turn signal.

The TST Running Mate is designed to work with DC current turn signals and may not function properly with pulse width modulated turn signals.

Harness Converters: Please note that the TST Running Mate features bullet-style connectors. A wire harness converter may be required for plug-and-play installation in your specific application.
